Duration of Switzerland vignettes for campers

Unfortunately, Switzerland has not introduced short-term vignettes. That is why a 14-month Swiss vignette for campers is mandatory irrespective of your trip duration.
The Swiss vignette for campers is issued for 14 months, starting with the validity on December 1st of the previous year and ending on January 31st of the year following the vignette purchase.
Important: Even if your trip to Switzerland is only a one-day trip or even if you plan to spend in the country only a couple of hours, you still should obtain an annual Swiss vignette for campers. Otherwise, you will risk being fined.
