About Vignette Validity in Romania

Romanian vignette validity is a period within you can use a vignette. Rovinieta or e-vignette for Romania is necessary for all travelers who want to drive through toll roads in Romania. What is the penalty for driving without a digital vignette for Romania

It is very important to obtain an e-vignette to use Romanian toll roads. The penalty for not getting a valid vignette is at least €100. Note that camera systems monitor all vehicles; thus, the proper services will check your license plate number and if you paid the fee.

The police or other authorities may do random checks or use the camera systems and give you a ticket in case you drive without a digital vignette. The fine may differ according to many factors, such as vehicle category and traffic violation.
